West Branch HR kicks off the year with an engaging panel discussion focused on leadership skills and career development—topics identified as top priorities in our recent member survey. The session features a panel of seasoned Human Resource leaders who will share insights, experiences, and practical advice to help you grow as an HR professional and leader.

Angela Hummel, SHRM-SCP, SPHR, CPTD, RCC
Angela Hummel, is an experienced HR and talent development leader and owner of Angela Hummel Consulting. She strengthens leadership pipelines and workplace culture through coaching, facilitation, and practical, high-impact learning experiences.
A National SHRM Instructor and eCornell course facilitator, Angela equips HR and business leaders with tools they can immediately apply to engagement, coaching, and performance. She also serves in volunteer leadership with Pennsylvania SHRM and her local SHRM chapter, advancing the HR profession across the region.
Kristen Avery - Human Resources Manager, Lycoming Engines
Kristen has over 23 years in the HR profession and is currently the HR Manager for Lycoming Engines. Kristen has always had a passion for working in manufacturing environments in the HR function and throughout her tenure in HR, Kristen has participated in all different aspects of HR to include labor/union relations, contract negotiations, benefits administration and strategy, organizational development, performance management processes, talent acquisition, policy development, and workforce planning.
In addition to her passion for HR, Kristen is also very invested in giving back to her local community and can be found serving on multiple non-profit boards and committees. Kristen received her Bachelor’s in Science from Penn State University in Labor Studies and Industrial Relations and her Master’s Degree in Professional Studies from Penn State University in Human Resources & Employment Relations. She resides in Hughesville with her husband and twin nine-year-old sons.
Terry Krezmer - CHRO/Sr. Vice President , Larson Design Group
A veteran corporate executive, Terry integrates more than three decades of human resources experience into her role with LDG, with specialties ranging from performance management and organization culture development to team management and succession planning.
Terry joined LDG in 2017 and seamlessly integrated more than three decades of human resources experience into her role, where she connects vision and core values to position LDG as a diverse employer of choice and to inspire an engaged, high-performance workforce across the company. She also brings a valued HR perspective to the company’s most strategic decision-making.
Terry has led her team in upgrading and simplifying employee payroll and benefits platform systems, creating an annual incentive compensation program to spur higher levels of achievement and strengthening a public-facing recruiting initiative to attract high quality candidates. She also has led a revision of LDG’s compensation system to meet industry standards and be more market-competitive and is a force for promoting safety in all workplace activities.
Terry is an alumna of Leadership Lycoming and the HR Leadership Academy of the Corporate Executive Board. She received her Bachelor of Science from Lock Haven University and has also served on various non-profit boards in Lycoming County over the past several decades.
Amanda Wright - Spherion VP of Business Development & Operations
Amanda a senior staffing operations and business development leader with 15+ years of experience partnering with organizations on strategic HR and workforce initiatives. She specializes in aligning talent strategy with business objectives—supporting workforce planning, talent acquisition optimization, retention strategies, and scalable staffing solutions. Known for her consultative approach, Amanda works closely with HR and executive leaders to solve complex people challenges, strengthen organizational performance, and deliver measurable outcomes through data-driven, relationship-focused talent solutions.
Mark Thompson - SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Mark Thompson is a senior certified HR professional with SPHR and SHRM-SCP certifications, along with 20 years experience in HR in healthcare and the service industry. He has been an HR leader for both nonprofit and large organizations, most recently leading an HR investigations team with Amazon. Mark has a passion for creating an engaging employee experience that focused on solving problems so that employees can bring their best work forward with minimal barriers.
